It’s been a little over a month since we brought Warhol home and it’s as if he’s always been there. For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you know of the adventures that our hound has been on…here’s a recap:

He’s definitely not a morning person. It takes him a good 30 minutes to get going. Stretching, belly rubs, yawns, more stretching, sad eyes that wonder why I’m getting him up so early, more ¬†yawns.

He loves the outdoors. He just wants to sniff the air and have the wind blow his fur around.

He’s got more fur than all the coats in our house combined and sheds like a beast (though that has calmed down a bit).

He has an expansive toy collection that rivals that of most toddlers.

He’s a lazy dog. All he does is sleep all day on the cold tile. He’s also a great foot warmer.

He’s a picky eater. He’s a people food begger. He’s a manipulator to get his paws on some food.

He’s progressing on his tricks…he can “sit,” lay,” and gives a mean paw….all in an effort to score a snack.

He loves salami.

There was this one time where I was prepping dinner and the fool hopped up on the kitchen counter and ate half of the raw chicken that I had marinating on a plate (I seriously just turned my back for a second!).

He may look like a wolf but he’s seriously just a big lover.

He loves car rides. He sits in the seat like a total boss.

He’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to our family — next to Sophie, of course.

Warhol + Sophie = Besties.

He’s received more snuggles, cuddles, hugs and kisses than he’s probably ever received. His bite size person, Nico, couldn’t be happier.
