IMP Studio Workshop: How to be a Second Shooter

Last night’s workshop on Marketing and Branding was amazing! I’m thrilled at how many photographers and artists showed up in an effort to better their craft!

February’s free workshop is one that’s near and dear to my heart.

As wedding season quickly approaches, photographers are getting all of their ducks in a row, making phone calls and sending emails in order to secure a phenomenal second shooter for their wedding season. While some of us are more experienced than others and ready to take on the season, some are second shooters, nervous and wondering if what they capture on a wedding day is what the lead photographer wants, needs and expects. While weddings are a hands on experience, there are no do-overs or second chances. As much as lead photographers would want to, we can’t teach second shooters on a wedding day and definitely do not want to be disappointed with the images we receive from our second shooters.

If you are going to be a second shooter for a wedding photographer this season and would like to learn exactly what a lead photographer is looking for in a second shooter, February’s free workshop that teaches just that…and a little bit more. The workshop material will cover everything from attire to portfolio building and everything in between.

Workshop-001

To join in the workshop you must be a photographer that has already shot some weddings as a second shooter or a photographer that will be shooting second at weddings for the first time this season.
