We met at her cousin’s wedding last year and immediately hit it off with our constant laughter…Danielle and Brendan were recently engaged and I was thrilled when I received the email asking if I would document their wedding day.
Brendan and Danielle are very much like Mike and I…he’s quiet and reserved (like Mike) and she’s energetic and passionate (like me!). We spent 3 days with them in Avalon and were able to spend time documenting their love story…despite the crazy weather we received.
If you try really hard, you can make NYC feel like it’s all yours and that there’s no one else around you…
While Mackenzie and Alex are getting married next year in Philadelphia, NYC is home to them and their engagement session this past weekend shares a little of their NYC life…from strolls in Central Park, their commute in and out of Grand Central Station and the library where Alex proposed.
At one point towards the end of the evening, Eliza and I plopped down on a couch at the College of Physicians. We leaned back on the plush velvet and I asked her how her day was…she smiled and said, “this is the longest day ever…I need a nap…but it is the best day of my life!” Their wedding hashtag is perfect… #elizasbestdayofherlief. It was a day engulfed by happiness, love, excitement, amazing families coming together from all over the place and fabulous, fun friends that made the day fantastic.
